A fashion fail story at AXDW

Let's get out of the closet. Bloggers are meant to express their opinion freely. As most of us are cuddling the designers, i have decided that you will never read lies in my blog about fashion. So, last October Ourania Kay presented her collection at Athens Exclusive Designers Week. I had the chance to attend the show, but i felt completely disappointed. But that's ok i guess, as a designer can't be a favorite to all of us. Nevertheless, there are some things we can and we have to stress out: her clothes were looking completely cheap, like those one can find at porn video clubs and strip shows. Also, her models were looking like junkies and the whole style was paying tribute to the lunatics and their medical care system. As long as i can remember there was a video playing during the show which was filmed in a nuthouse.
For me, fashion must promote health and beauty. What this has to do with elegance and fashion? The collection was just provocative, just to be seen and make a statement "here i am!", but in the end there is nothing left but ugliness. People in the fashion industry should not promote drugs and unhealthy situations. Even the make up and the catwalk she chose for her models was referring to drug addicts and mad people! Craziness as a disease, lunatics who need medical help and drug abuse are things one should not play with...Next time think more! Fashion is not just a game!
