Για το καλοκαίρι 2011 το Camper Barcelona Design Center προτείνει τo Olivia BDC ένα νέο γυναικείο σανδάλι σε εκπληκτικά σχέδια και χρώματα. Αντλώντας έμπνευση από τα παραδοσιακά ψηλοτάκουνα πέδιλα αλλά με την προσθήκη ιδιαίτερων λεπτομερειών και την ποικιλία χρωματικών συνδυασμών τo Οlivia ΒDC διατηρεί έναν ρετρό – σοφιστικέ χαρακτήρα.

Οικολογική γιορτή με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Περιβάλλοντος

Πλήθος επισκεπτών, στην πλειοψηφία τους παιδιά, συγκεντρώθηκαν το Σάββατο 4 Ιουνίου στο πολυκατάστημα SHOPPING HOUSE για να στείλουν το δικό τους μήνυμα αγάπης για την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος. Από νωρίς το πρωί τα παιδιά συναντήθηκαν με τον αγαπημένο τους ήρωα Μπομπ Σφουγγαράκη, έπαιξαν και φωτογραφήθηκαν μαζί του, ξεσηκώνοντας με τα γέλια τους τον κόσμο στον προαύλιο χώρο του πολυκαταστήματος. Την ηλιόλουστη εκείνη μέρα, οι μικροί φίλοι ξεδίψασαν με το νερό Ζαγοράκι, που τους «συντρόφευε» σε όλες τις δραστηριότητες τους.

Avant-premiere: X-men, the first generation.

Today i went to the Mall Athens (Marousi) in order to attend the avant-premiere of the new X-men movie. Natalia Papanikolaou from "Progressive" PR company was kind enough of inviting me and giving me the chance to have such a great time there! I found my reserved seats, a popcorn box, many "Milko" chocolate milk boxes and some very friendly smiles, apart form the photographers and the TV capturing my arrival :) I have also to mention that everything was in time, a fact which shows professionalism for me.

Last night at Athens Pride 2011 we had so fun with Dimitris Strepkos! We had also the chance to hear live Vegas and their beautiful songs! Melina, singer of Vegas, was wearing a playful outfit made by comics and tulle by fashion designer Konstantinos Mitrovgenis. So fabulous! Check my video ;)

Today i went to the photoshooting of Celebrity Skin by photographer Fenia Lampropoulou. The hair was styled by Nikos Mpalialios, the make up was by Mairy Karahaliou, the styling was made by Dimitris Strepkos, designer of Celebrity Skin label, and the model was Fiona (Ace model agency). I had such a great time there, not only fun (as i enjoyed Panos Apergis playful outfit), but also i always learn something new about fashion, editorials etc. For example Fenia was kind enough of answering my questions about retouching the photos. And i always learn from the model's expressions as directed by Dimitris Strepkos. He must be such a great teacher at his school! I live for fashion days like this!

Vodafone CU 7ply Project: my visit.

Today i visited Texnopolis Gazi for the Vodafone Cu 7ply project where i had the chance to see from close all these AMAZING (!!!) skateboards. Its a total win, so i really suggest you to see the photos below one by one!

Fashion show at Hub events

Last night i went to Hub Events where 5 designers, among them our friend Konstantinos Mitrovgenis, were showing their creations under the criteria of eco friendly materials. This idea reminded me of Katerina Alexandraki fashion show (AFW 2011) which was totally based on recycling concept and environmental friendly clothes.

Yesterday i visited "UCreate" exhibition of handmade creations at Konstantinoupoleos 44 (aka K44) Gazi area, where i had the chance to see from close all these fantastic handmade items. In fact, i found some very nice ones, like the red booties at the picture below. I am always into new designers, so its common sense i promote and support these events. More to come!

Meet Market at Six D.O.G.S.

 Yesterday i visited 6 D.O.G.S where the Meet Market took place. I had the chance to meet Ma Li Ya and buy one of her new creations, a very fancy necklace. I also had the chance to meet Holy Mustache and get invited to his sales party at the Holy Room next week and finally i bought a handmade calendula soap which i loved. See you next time!

Today i went to Attica store (Panepistimiou Athens) because Kiehl's threw a party where we had the chance to amuse ourselves, buy some beauty products, meet the designers and the bloggers who participated in this cause and finally win a bag! Yes, i was lucky enough to be handpicked by Alex Kavvadias for the bag he designed for Kiehl's!

Today i visited Dressing Bar store at El.Venizelou 140 Ilioupoli for its birthday party. I had a great time there and i had also the chance to discuss fashion with Stelios Koudounaris and find a fantastic Ioanna Kourbela leather bracelet which i bought. As you will see at the pictures below, the clothes are fashionable yet wearable from designers like Stelios Koudounaris to Ioanna Kourbela among others.

Today i went to St.George Hotel to attend a fashion auction which was only the first one, as there are more planned, in Myconos during the summer for example.
I had the chance to meet Polycarpos Manousaridis there, who runs his own business of men lycra swimwear during the last 4 years. I found them amazing, as the neon colors were fantastic at prices which range from 50 to 80 euros. Also, i have to admit that it's a pleasure to discuss with Panos Apergis, as he is always so kind and funny, not to mention his awesome collection that i saw at Athens Fashion Week two months ago based on tradition and ethnic style. But there is more: this time he invited me to his new fashion show at the end of August in Myconos! I can't wait really!

"Loft by design" opening at Kifissia

Σε έναν χώρο απαράμιλλης αισθητικής εγκαινιάστηκε σήμερα το πρώτο κατάστημα "Loft design by" στην Ελλάδα, και συγκεκριμένα στην Κηφισιά (Κολοκοτρώνη 1).  Η γνωστή γαλλική φίρμα με την εξαιρετική ποιότητα των -φιλικών προς το περιβάλλον- ρούχων της από οργανικό βαμβάκι, κασμίρι ή μετάξι βρήκε τον δικό της πανέμορφο χώρο για να εκθέσει το indusrtial και basic look της ανάμεσα σε αυθεντικές αντίκες αγορασμένες από το Μοναστηράκι (Αθήνα). Η Act&React οργάνωσε -όπως κάθε φορά άλλωστε- ένα πολύ ευχάριστο περιβάλλον με ποτά Cointreau, μοντέλα που προέβαλλαν τα ρούχα, μουσική από dj και σκιτσογράφους για να μας απαθανατίσουν! Ενδεικτικά οι τιμές κυμαίνονται από 45 ευρώ για t-shirts , 60 ευρώ για τσάντες, 75 ευρώ για τα μαγιώ και 100 για τις βερμούδες.
